Beijing Huawei Traffic Engineering Company Environmental Protection Dept. is focusing on the service of expressway water process, noise and scenery construction, park, factory and residence zone, as well as other water and noise projects. We have senior 2 sight designers, 3 ecology engineers, 12 landscape engineers, 8 assistant engineers, besides we have invited famous landscape designers home and abroad as our perennial consultant in the committee of experts.

　　Since foundation, Landscape Dept. has successfully finished many projects of water, noise procession, sight projects and ecology renewal and protect, many of which have been awarded "excellent designed project".　　　　

1,Highway Environment Protect：
　　Traffic Noise Procession：After the highway comes into formal use, the noise will become more and more. If there are some noise sensitive points nearby, some procedures to reduce the noise should be taken. And the structure, materials and installation position of the noise barrier should all in special design.
　　Water Environment Procession：As to the sewage, we bring it into the city system if it is near the downtown while the faraway should be offered with special equipment. Meanwhile the damage of highway to the local water should be reduced.

2,Landscape：

　　1)Highway
　　Highway landscape is a dynamic dimensional one with sense of rhythm and beauty, as well as social, cultural, regional content and folk-custom. The point is that based on safe traffic, highway construction should care for the harmony of the scene. As the highway is a strap shape, the environmental sight has to be corresponding; meanwhile the elements and their proportion have to be well grasped. There is an emphasis on ecology beauty principle in modern landscape design. Ecology beauty is displayed with life and its living environment, which is full of function besides beauty. The tip principle in this area is to combine the ecology and beauty perfectly. We adopt environmental protection technique, especially to do the special design for the surroundings of highway.

　　Our sample projects include Ningbo Sect System Recover and Protect of Tongsan Expressway, Dimensional Traffic Zone Ecological Construction, and etc. we emphasize on the basic traffic function, combining the point (scenery), line (trees on the sides of avenues) and surface (Greenland and scenery), broadleaf and needleleaf trees, arbor and shrub, in order to achieve a natural, wide, clear multi-ecological system. In the process, we are also gradually more and more experienced in the solutions for the highway construction.

　　2)Residence zone
　　In order to beautify the outline of residence zone, we arrange the high buildings in the center while the lower outside; this is preventing a separation with the outer world. As to the area with special landform, we try to follow its original feature and arrange the project based on its undulant terrain. We arrange the dwelling buildings in the style of "lines with points attached". The building zones are separated by greenlands and lower public buildings. The residence zone thus is featured with convenient paths and nice landscape.

　　3)Factory
　In doing the factory projects we emphasize most on the function, aiming for perfect conformity of function and environment. Based on Chinese traditional and modern Fengshui, ancient art of placement, added with the gardening, we use soft and hidden lines to balance the over straight factory atmosphere. We plant flowers and trees, set gardens to arrange the free lands. " Covering it with beauty if not satisfying, accepting it if nice", we are also preparing useful areas for the further land development. Our design combines different sections as a whole and we mainly use the local plants so that it requires little further care.
